Director and Executive Applications - Team Expansion Edition
Director Roles
- Director of Finance (1)
- Record all financial transactions of the group,
- Hold signing and financial authority along with the President,
- Maintain a budget of income and expenses,
- Advise members on financial position of the group,
- Prepare an annual budget for the group
- Director of Community engagement (1)
- Contact and connect with relating members in community (professors, alumni, graduate students, fellow enthusiasts) for club activity purposes
- Internal community building (member engagement, equity and inclusion)
- Researching member onboarding and retention initiatives
- Plan and oversee events held by the club
- Ensure activities of the club comply with policies of the University of Toronto
- Contact and connect with relating members in community (professors, alumni, graduate students, fellow enthusiasts) for club activity purposes
- Director of Research (1)
- Conduct research on current events in relation to artificial intelligence
- Once every two weeks (14 days) or once a month (28 days), contribute to the LexAI Journal (closely with the President),
- Creative liberty on research topics
- Work with the director and executives of public relations, providing content or ideas for their posts
- Director of Operations (1)
- Develop and implement systems to improve the club’s efficiency
- ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the club
- This role focuses on logistics, organization, and internal processes, making it a backbone role for the club’s success
- Meeting coordination, document and record-keeping
- Develop and implement systems to improve the club’s efficiency
Executive Roles
- Executives of Finance (2)
- Supporting the Director of Finance in all similar duties
- Executives of Community Engagement (3)
- Supporting the Director of Community Engagement in all similar duties
- Executive of Public Relations (2)
- Oversee the organization’s social media (Instagram) account, email or more if platforms increase
- Brand management, content creation, creatively executing ideas, in charge prompt sponsor or partner promotion
- Expanding our media presence through other platforms (facebook, X, linkedin)
- supporting the Director of Public Relations in all similar duties
- Executives of Research (4)
- Supporting the Director of Research in all similar duties
- Editing research and article submissions submitted on the LexAI Journal
- Executives of Operations (3)
- Supporting the Director of Operations in all similar duties
